The increase of the conversion of the rice field lands become a big problem that can affect the decrease in rice supply staple food suply. The policy released by the government is to control the conversion of paddy fields, namely by stipulating LSD. However, the problem that occurs is the incompatibility of the LSD data with the RDTR and land use. This study aims to map the suitability of LSD with existing land use and RDTR, as well as the impacts of its incompatibility.
The research method used is a sequential explanatory mixed-method with a spatial approach analysis. Data collection techniques involve image interpretation, observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis technique used is the overlapping technique with the matching method.
The results of this study are: (1) the suitability of LSD with existing land use is 482.706 Ha or 95.796% and the non-compliance is 21.185 Ha or 4.204%; (2) the suitability of LSD with RDTR is 242.359 Ha or 48.097% and 261.533 is unsuitable; After actual verification, the suitability of LSD is 213,431 Ha or 74.817%, and 71,839 Ha or 25.183% is unsuitable; and (3) the impacts of LSD incompatibility with RDTR include landowners being hindered in converting their land, obstacles to investment development, and a reduction in the affected LSD area.
