Abstact: Article 15 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 2 of 2012 concerning Land acquisition for public interest development regulates the Land Acquisition Planning Document (DPPT) containing the purpose and objectives of the development plan, suitability of the RTRW and National and Regional Development Plans, land layout, land area needed, general description of land status, estimated time of land acquisition, construction, estimated land value and budgeting plan. Land acquisition for Jalur Jalan Lintas Selatan (the Southern Cross Road) began in 2016. But until 2020 the process has not been completed. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the suitability of the DPPT for Jalur Jalan Lintas Selatan Tepus-Jerukwudel Section of the 2016 with 46 Criterias for Land Regulations and Government Regulation regarding Roads. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study are 11 suitable criterias and 35 unsuitable criterias. The dominant of unsuitable criteria are (a) Purpose and Objectives (b) Land Status General Description , (c) Land Acquisition Estimated Time , (d) Implementation of Development Estimated Time ; (e) Estimated Land Value, (f) Budget Plan.
