Human behavior in fulfilling their life necessities does not always pay attention on environmental balance. One of them is human needs on land (space) as a place to stay (residency). Therefore it needs a land use sustainably, optimally, harmoniously and equally, in order land damage can be minimized and not generating a disaster. Such as land slide as that was occurred in Karangkobar Sub District in 2014 resulting many damages. The objectives of this research are to discover the factors causing landslide disaster vulnerability and conformity level of land use that has been conducted by the community against the landslide hazard.
This research was conducted in Sub District of Karangkobar District of Banjarnegara. Research method was combining qualitative and quantitative method. Data source used was land thematic and RTRW. Its data analysis technic used was statistic test on factors causing land slide then overlay it to create map of landslide vulnerability, and descriptive analysis was used to learn the conformity of area that are prone to landslide.
Factors causing landslide vulnerability in Sub District of Karangkobar namely land use, slope, type of soil, effective depth of the land and density of population. The result of overlay was map of landslide vulnerability with detail containing six
villages with level very vulnerable, two villages at medium vulnerable and five villages low vulnerable. Land use utilized by the community was not entirely conforming to RTRW and WTU. Result of data processing indicated that the land used by community 12.263% was not conformin g to RTRW, and 22.430% did not conform to WTU concept. This conformity affected level of landslide event and inflicted losses impact.
Result of this research can be used for Land Office of Banjarnegara District as evaluation material for land management in District of Banjarnegara where landslide disaster was often occurred, particularly with its main duty such as land
certification and land permits in order to conform to existing Spatial Pattern so community certainty on land is guaranteed and landslide danger can be minimized.
