Decree Determining the location for the construction of public interest determined by the Governor or Regent / Mayor. After the determination of the location of the party entitled only to divert land tenure rights to land through the government agency requiring the Land Institute . This research�s objectives are to: 1)Provide a fast, easy and accurate information regarding land including in determining object of location of development for public interest, 2) become an instrument that able to control transfer of land rights at the location of development for public interest.
This research used Research and Developmentby using development by prototyping method. Prototyping stagestraversed were involving user needs and system analysis, the development of spatial database using Software ArchGIS and Geoserver and textual database using database MYSQL, user interface design, and PHP programming language writing using Notepad++ software.
This research produced a product called Information System of Development for Public Interest application and tested the effectiveness of the product. The test result can be concluded that application has been built was at level quite good up to very good and there was no assessment stating less good which means that the application Information System of Development for Public Interest can be accepted in accordance with user necessity and hope.Application produced provides facility in accessing information regarding land plots at location of development for public interest.Result of the use of this application
was in form of recommendation letter related to status of those land plots in location of development for public interest.
This application may provide a real contribution for Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), including: 1) information system of location of development for public interest is a land service innovation in line with PERMATA online application prioritizing active role of land title registrar before conducted certificate examination application and the making of land title registrar Deed, 2) this information system can be used by community and land title registrar independently to publish recommendation letter used as one of certificate examination application requirements, particularly in area that has been
set as location of development for public interest, 3) active role of the society and land title registrar is very helpful and lighten the burden of land office�s workload in providing land information to society, 4) this information system can be used as
an instrument that could control transfer over land rights at location of development of public interest.
