The objectives of this research are 1) To learn the differences between land coordinate, the long side, shape, and wide as result of terrestrial measurement by measuring the land using GPS dual frequency with rapid static method, 2) To discover whether the land coordinate and wide result of terrestrial measurement using electronic total station and polar method and plot measurement using GPS dual frequency and rapid static method fulfills wide tolerance set by Ministry of ATR/BPN in accordance with technical guidance of PMNA/KBPN Number 3 Year 1997. Research method used in this research was experimental method with qualitative approach. Type of primary data used was data result of GPS observation and result of terrestrial measurement by using radial mode method. At this research statistic t and anova test was used with significance level (?)=5% to test baseline coordinate, wide, long side and long from based point to land boundary point result of GPS observation and azimuth grid terrestrial measurement as well as terrestrial azimuth magnetic. In addition analysis was also performed on tolerance of position shift and difference land area based on Technical Guidance of PMNA/KBPN Number 3 Year 1997. Based on research result and analysis, it was discovered that 1) there were no significant differences between land coordinate, wide, shape and long side in the result of GPS observation radial mode method and terrestrial azimuth grid measurement and magnetic azimuth terrestrial measurement radial mode method with distance limitation of base point to land boundaries was � 200 m. 2) measurement of land using GPS observation radial mode method and terrestrial azimuth grid as well as terrestrial azimuth magnetic radial mode method has fulfilled tolerance set on Technical Guidance of PMNA/KBPN Number 3 Year 1997 for position shift and land wide. Land measurement by using terrestrial radial mode method is useful for Land Office Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial/BPN specifically measurement survey and cadastral mapping section. This method could relieve the burden of measuring officers since it is getting greater, this is due to certificate is not about quality but also quantity needs to be noticed. So in order to accelerate land registration, a proper measurement method is also required to fasten measurement of the land plot.
