Lack of land services which is a manual contained in terms of time efficiency and accuracy of the result. Ministry of ATR/BPN makes a policy to provide a prime service to community by means of establishing land based information through computerized system in land offices. The Land Office of Sleman District is one of land offices carries out land office computerization since
initial development stage up to implementation IV stage. This research aims to determine: 1) technical development of land office computerized system and 2) the impact of this technical development of land office computerized system to land services in The Land Office of Sleman District.
Research method used is qualitative method with descriptive approach. Analysis technique was performed by preparing proportional statements logically to answer research questions. First problem analysis was conducted by preparing
statements to describe technical development of computerized system in land office. Second problem analysis was conducted by explaining impact of technical development of computerized system on land service. Based on research result was discovered that: 1) Initial development stage up to implementation I stage, Ministry of ATR/BPN was in collaboration with CIMSA Ig. AIE on 10 March 1997. At this stage software multibase was used for textual and software was used smallword for spatial. The Implementation II stage up to Implementation IV stage, Ministry of ATR/BPN was no longer in cooperation with CIMSA Ig. AIE so LOC term has turned into KKP. At this stage has been started to be managed by PUSDATIN and using software Oracle 10g for
textual and software Auto Cad 2009 for Spatial; 2) The impact of technical development of computerized system at land office has been perceived by The Land Office of Sleman District consisting of positive and negative impacts. The positive impacts were attempting land administrative order, creating innovation on land service, and facilitating land data maintenance. The negative impacts were the loss of data during system migration, adjusting applicable SOP and additional production cost.
The benefits of this research for Ministry of ATR/BPN were providing information and input for development of land office computerized system. The benefit for Land Office of Sleman District was providing information on efforts to improved the quality of land records. The benefit for researcher was additional insights and knowledge regarding development of land office computerized system.
