The Physical development is done massively by individuals and legal entities will reduce green open space (RTH). RTH development in Nganjuk implemented with the construction of the urban forest by Bappeda, Department of Public Works and Human Settlement Spatial, Forestry and villages. The purpose of this study is to know the coordination of government agencies in the management of land assets of the area into an urban forest, consideration of the type, shape and distribution pattern of urban forests in Nganjuk, knowing the role of the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/ National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR / BPN) in the development of forest city and type of their rights, and know the social impacts of land assets into a forest area after the city towards the community. This study was conducted in Nganjuk. The research method is qualitative description of the approach. Data were collected through interviews, document studies and field observations. Data were analyzed by using overlay to know the consideration of the urban forest. The map is then analyzed and conducted observations in the field so that it knows the location and distribution pattern of urban forests in Nganjuk. In addition, qualitative data analysis techniques used to determine the role of the Ministry of ATR / BPN in the development of the urban forest and types of rights, and to know the social impacts of land assets into a forest area after the city towards the community. The results of this study are land asset management area in Nganjuk as urban forest development planning includes planning, execution, control and management carried out by Bappeda, Department of Public Works and Human Settlement Spatial, Forestry and villages. Consideration location city forest in the distribution center of local activity (PKL) Nganjuk because it is based plan population distribution of PKL Nganjuk in 2027 amounted to 385 100 inhabitants with an area of 27 692 ha and activities in the city as a center of government, trade and services center, public facilities, housing and agriculture. While the type and shape of the urban forest is determined based on the location of the urban forest. The role of the Ministry of ATR / BPN include planning urban forest location, registration of land rights of local assets as the urban forest and soil monitoring assets as the forest area of the city. The results of this study can provide recommendations for the Section of Land Rights and Land Registration and Section Dispute and Conflict Case Land District Land Office to determine the parties that manage land assets of the region as an urban forest and the location information of urban forests in Nganjuk and ownership, possession and use land assets as the urban forest area can be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and facts in the field.
