Land Procurement for Development for Public Interest is the supply of land in the success of national development. One of the land procurement activities that have been implemented are the construction of Gondang Reservoir in the Karanganyar. The Gondang Reservoir development implementation in the Karanganyar was organized by the Decree of the Governor By Location Determination No. 590/79/2013 dated December 27, 2013 On Approval of Location Determination Land Procurement for Development Gondang Reservoir in the Karanganyar.
This study used qualitative methods to investigate the implementation of land procurement for the construction of the Gondang Reservoir along with the problems and solutions in dealing with the problem. It is also used to determine the application of the principles of justice according to Law No. 2 of 2012 neighbor Land Procurement for Development for Public Interest. so the technique of data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation study.
The results show that there are obstacles in an acquisition that is associated with a wide margin and the number of parcels by Central Java Governor Decree with the results of measurements made by the Land Procurement Committee (P2T). In addition, the application of the principle of justice in acquisition of land for the construction of the Gondang Reservoir has been in accordance with the Act 2 of 2012. This is evidenced by the level of rationality and community satisfaction with the magnitude of the value of compensation received which indicate a sense of justice for the parties entitled and those in need of land.
