Utilization of village treasury land in Sub District of Piyungan District of Bantul many of them have been converted its function into non agriculture as an instance for tourism and industrial sectors; it is due to meet the necessity of third party. The research objects consisted of recreational park Kids Fun Parcs, Piyungan industrial area and agricultural lands. Regulation of Yogyakarta Special Region Governor Number 112 Year 2014 has become legal basis for utilization of village treasure land in Sub District of Piyungan District of Bantul. The objectives of this research are to learn the form of utilization of village treasure land and problems encountered in utilization of village treasury land as well as problematic encountered during registration of village treasury land right in Sub District of Piyungan District of Bantul. Type of this research was using juridical normative and juridical empiric, statute approach and case study approach. Juridical normative was used to study problems related to law and regulation and juridical empiric was used to study the implementation in field. Type of data collection used documentary study and interviews. Data collection method was using descriptive qualitative analysis.
Result of the research obtained was form of utilization of village treasury land in Sub District of Piyungan District of Bantul was held by leased it to third party that provided added value for Village Government, third party and for community welfare at large. The issues encountered in utilization of village treasury land in Sub District of Piyungan were from aspect of leased revenue, legal basis aspect and land acquisition aspect. Problematic on registration of village treasury land right in Sub District of Piyungan District of Bantul by referring to Article 19 Governor of Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 112 Year 2014 has not been conducted due to waiting for revised of Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation. Contribution of this research can be used for policy making by Land Setting and Structuring section related to technical consideration of land for utilization of village treasury land and policy making at Land Rights and Land Registration section related to status of village treasury land rights registered at Land Office of Bantul District.
