According article 19 No. 5 1960�s of law explains that obligation to implemant land registration in all regions of Indonesia, is the Government represented by the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial / BPN. However, caused by limitations and barriers in the implementation of land registration, the authority will not succeed without the active participation of society. The active
participation of society is needed to support the Government in the succeeding of land registration in Indonesia, especially in Cilacap. The active participation of society can be realized obtain a certificate well with cross-sectoral programs, PRONA agriculture and non govenmental. The purpose of this research to determine how the public participation in the certification of agricultural land to ensure legal certainty over the land in the village of Bojong, subdistrict Kawunganten, district Cilacap.
The method used in this research is a qualitative research method which is supported by the study documents, documentation and interviews with the guidelines interview. Sources of primary data and secondary data will be collected processed for analysis and made conclutions to answer the problem in this research.
Based on the results of research can be concluded that society perception in the village of Bojong in the certification program of agricultural land high category. Bojong people's interest in the certification program of agricultural land in the medium category. Bojong people's participation in the certification program of agricultural land in the medium category. Bojong people�s participation is necessary and should be improved, among others, participation in decisionmaking as discuss land information, giving feedback / rejection and in the implementation of certification programs such as the collection of files. Bojong people�s participation that have been given in agricultural land certification activities and should be maintained in implementation activities that is the installation of stakes activity, appointment of bounds; the extraction of benefits and land certification program evaluation activities.
The benefits of this research to the Ministry of Agricultural and Spatial / BPN is as an input for the Cilacap District Land Office to improve education about land information such as information requirements, procedures, costs in the application of agricultural land certificate.It is intended that Cilacap people�s will understand procedures, terms and cost of the land certification so that the land registration in Cilacap can be resolved.
