according to the direction of spatial plans which have been set by the government. Technological advances, especially the rapidly growing information technology today, an opportunity to develop land utilization information system that is effective, efficient and meet the needs of the public for information relating to the land utilization. Form the technological advances is
the development of technology smartphone with Android operating system is supported also by the development of a Geographic Information System (GIS) - based mobile devices. The purpose of this research is to build an application that can facilitate land office employees as the executor of administrating the ground in analyzing the suitability of the land use plan of the Spatial plans, the ability of the soil and the availability of land, as well as provide facilities public in the search for the site development plan of spatial aspects, capabilities soil and the availability of land use Android smartphone.
Research was conducted in Sleman District Land Office, with research sites Trihanggo Village, District Gamping, Regency of Sleman. The method used is the method of Research and Development (R & D). Results of this research is android-based GIS application that has the main function to (1) conduct analysis of land utilization conformity with the parameters of the spatial planning of land use plans, land availability, and the ability of the soil, (2) finding the location as on the development of the parameters of the availability of land, Spatial plans , accessibility and hamlets, and (3)provide information Spatial plans, the ability of the soil, the availability of land for development, compliance with the Spatial land use, and public informationbased parcels of land parcels.
