The use of the latest technology in measuring and mapping activities in Surabaya II Land Office can not fully replace the function of the control points. Base on the importance of the control points in measuring and mapping activities, the Ministry of Agricultural and Spatial Planning/ National Land Agency is obliged to conduct the administration, maintenance and security of the control points. Therefore, the purposes of this study were to determine and describe 1) Purposes of Control Points Distribution Information System Application for Surabaya II Land Office, East Java Province; and 2) The process of making an application program of Control Points Distribution Information Systems in Land Office of Surabaya II, East Java Province.
The method used is a research and development with the experimental approach. Analysis was conducted on the user needs and analysis of system requirements so that the resulting application can meet the needs of users. The evaluation phase conducted by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. Questionnaire data processed by using questionnaire data processing methods. Results of this evaluation phase can indicate whether the application program can be implemented or not. While a given input can be used to develop the application program.
Based on the results of research and analysis, it is known that 1). Administrative management of control points in the Surabaya II Land Office is still done manually, 2) Control Points Distribution Information System Application can assist the users in performing measurements and mapping activities in the area of Surabaya II Land Office in case of a) featuring the distribution of the control points in Surabaya II Land Office, b) seeking information about the control points quickly and accurately, and c) printing reports dynamically.
